Hi, I installed TekSIP but my Cisco spa2102 wouldnt register. I sniffed the network traffic and discovered it was sending a code 400 (0 bindings) error response to the registration request from my ATA. I then looked at the log and observed the exchange below.

Hi,
TekSIP does not allow using * or ? characters in address of records (in From, To and Contact headers). Please download and try latest build from TekSIP web site.

Hello, Thanks. I have spent hours pouring over the manual and trying to figure out my error. Does the latest build allow those characters * and ? that you mentioned?
Thanks again.

Hi,
Latest version of TekSIP supports * character in address of records (in From, To and Contact headers). There is no support for "?" yet.
Best regards,
