Hey folks,
i am experiencing problems trying to make my 2 sip phones (patton ,model SL4050/2)call each other. The 2 phones are registered with the Communigate Pro Sip server already, but evrytime i try calling, the call doesnt go through with this error message : "unknown user account".

Can anyone advice me what the problem could be,or what setting i might need to check?

cheers

Hi,

Where and how you use TekSIP in this configuration? If you do not use TekSIP, you should check if configured user id's and display name are
identical in the IP Phone devices.

So I have question to add to this. Looking for a simple SIP Proxy for my Lab.

SIP Server(TCP) -> TekSIP -> SIP Endpoint (UDP)

and in reverse

SIP Endpoint (UDP) -> TekSIP -> SIP Server (TCP)

Will this configuration work with TekSIP?

Hi,

Only SIP Endpoint (UDP) -> TekSIP -> SIP Server (TCP) scenario possible if SIP server register itself to TekSIP.

HI ,

Its a great app. I am able to make outbound calls from Eyebeam SIP end point that has registered to TekSIP to a configured VOipcheap SIP account as SIp Proxy in the Routing Tab. But i am not sure how to receive inbound calls. That is calls made to my VoipCheap should automatically ring to my Eyebeam end point. I know we need to add a default route but am not sure how to do it.

thanks

Dear Badri,

Thanks for your feedback. TekSIP can route inbound calls destined to only registered endponits. In your case
calls to your external account is required to be routed to one of the registered endponits. But this feature is not implemented
yet.
